Magnetic Receptive Material

RubberSteel® Flexible Magnetic Receptive Material is lightweight and ideal for multiple applications at school, home or office…even on the go. It will hold flexible magnetic strip, flexible magnetic sheet, custom magnetic profiles or hard magnets on either flat or curved surfaces.

Magnets are only attracted to certain substances. When a product is made from plastic, paper or other non-magnetic / non-metalic surface, it can be changed to attract magnets by applying Rubber Steel. Rubber Steel is attached using a Pressure Sensitive Adhesive, epoxy or perhaps integrated into the unit. Several standard sizes and shapes are available for Quick Ship. We also work with our customers to design and provide custom sizes and shapes to match the specifications for a particular product or project.

Flexible Magnetic Profiles

Custom Flexible Magnets
The manufacturing process for Flexible Magnets allows for the creation of functional profiles in addition to flat product. One common application is the standard "C” channels profile in various widths for labeling. Often used in a warehouse to label shelves, it is also seen in offices for name plates.
